'Intravenously Commodified'

Review by Brayden Bagnall

Genre/s: Grindcore
For Fans Of: Insect Warfare, Phobia, Pizza Hi-Five, PLF, Suffering Mind

Browsing Facebook today I came across a post from Six Brew Bantha containing a link to download their new album. Their bandcamp has since run out of free downloads, and they have most graciously uploaded it to mediafire - effectively doing half my job for me. Thanks guys!
For those of you new to SBB, they're a trio from Victoria, Canada who play meaty, concise grindcore with one of the best fucking snare sounds in modern grind. Their music is a sporadic and unpredictable as you could want from a grind band, and then more - constantly throwing tempo changes, new riffs and jarring stop/starts at you. That's not to say that they don't find time to settle into grooves (see album closer Trampled To Death) and thrash out some toe tappin', head noddin' numbers. All in all a very nice contribution from one of the better grindcore bands going around today.
Intravenously Commodofied - it's mean, lean and fast - and it came pre-uploaded, courtesy of the band - what more could you want?
