Never Human - Demo

Never Human

Review by Brayden Bagnall

Genre/s: Hardcore, D-Beat, Noise Punk
For Fans Of: Gag, Behavior, Disclose, Perfume River, Perspex Flesh

I don't know about you, but when I think Nova Scotia I immediately recall mental images of pirates and Scottish people. Not sure why, but neither of those things are remotely similar to the ugly, blown out hardcore that Nova Scotian band Never Human play.
Never Human's demo is bursting at the seams with unbridled, unhinged energy that manifests itself in the pissed off, washed out and delayed vocals and innumerable stompy breakdowns that flow in and out of the frantic drum galloping and thrashy riffs. This demo does the noisy hardcore thing well too, presenting itself as a cacophonic ball of fury without sounding like a wall of white noise with a drum track.
Chuck this on and prepare to get a little silly - this is prime throw down material.

1. Void Of Choice
2. Prone Pathetic
3. Erase
4. Deny
5. Not My Views
6. Conquest For Death (Necros)
