Alberich is a one man wrecking ball of harsh, synth driven industrial soundscapes. A more structured take on the death industrial genre - Alberich (aka Kris Lapke) utilises very minimal synth lines, bass and otherwise, and builds on them through out the course of the track, adding eerie ambience, swirling static and disembodied vocals to the mix. It's the sounds of being trapped in a sheet metal factory, where John Carpenter and Throbbing Gristle are writhing on the ground together, making beautiful industrial babies - and while it's a disturbing sight, you just can't take your eyes away from it.
