Inservibles - Self Titled LP

'Inservibles LP'

Review by Brayden Bagnall

Genre/s: Hardcore, Punk
For Fans Of: Una Bestia Incontrolable, Void, White Guilt, Total Abuse, Crazy Spirit

Inservibles are an absoooolutely putrid punk band outta Mexico, who've been releasing some killer tunes over the past couple of years. Inservibles play an almost straightforward style of punk, but inject it with menacing reverb/delayed vocals with a blackened tinge, giving this EP an almost ghostly, hazy ambience and blending with the fuzzed out instruments to create a ghastly miasma of noise. Though they are from south of the US border, these guys sound like they could be right at home with some of the Toxic State bands, with their raw, lo-fi take on modern punk.
